Everything But The Leftovers: A Great Find At Trader Joe’s

As we move forward together to continue to Make Every Day Stellar, I want to share some of my favorite finds with you. If you know me well you know that I love Trader Joe’s. Shopping solely at Trader Joe’s isn’t my forte, but I do go weekly to get a few fun “extras”. Trader Joe’s is marvelous for the extras! Plus, eating gluten-free is easier to do there and so I’m always on the hunt for a few yummy extras to help. Today, I want to share Everything But The Leftovers: A Great Find At Trader Joe’s.

Why I love it:

If you love to season your food (as you should!!), then you will LOVE this seasoning mix. Everything But The Leftovers smells like Thanksgiving in a jar. The kicker? It doesn’t make everything taste exactly like Thanksgiving, which I appreciate. It does, however, give everything I sprinkle it on a great home cooked taste. It’s familiar, it’s comforting, it’s delicious.

Why You Need It:

If you are looking for a way to switch up your usual foods and add a little bit of a different taste to your meals, then this is for you. It compliments all of my meals nicely and I have applied this to so many different things. It’s also a quick addition to any meals that you are making in a pinch. Don’t have the chicken marinated? Add Everything But The Leftovers! Ran out of salt? You can add Everything But The Leftovers? Just tired of the typical garlic salt and pepper? Insert Everything But The Leftovers and bring your meal to life. It’s awesome.

What You Can Use It On:

I’ve used it on so many things! There’s the obvious- adding it to your meats and/or veggies. In the photo above, I roasted potatoes, sausage and Brussel sprouts to make a bowl. I seasoned the potatoes liberally with Everything But The Leftovers. But, I made sure to only add salt and pepper the sausage and Brussel sprouts. I didn’t want to overdo the seasonings on it. It turned out really yummy! I’ve added this seasoning to my eggs which was really good too. Last night, I added it to the Sloppy Joe’s I was making as it was simmering. My kids loved it! Really, you can apply Everything But The Leftovers to just about anything and it would probably be great.

In conclusion, this should be in your cabinet come time for Thanksgiving. It’s a great seasoning mix for fall and winter with an excellent flavor and smell. If you need a quick recipe to try, check out THIS one here. Home cooking never smelt so good or looked so easy! Trader Joe’s for the win!
