Hydration Tips For Business Trips

1. BYOW – Bring Your Own Water Bottle

This may seem like an obvious tip, but it’s so important that it’s worth mentioning. Bringing your own water bottle ensures that you always have access to water, no matter where you are. Plus, it’s eco-friendly! You can find collapsible water bottles that are perfect for traveling and take up very little space in your luggage. I just went on a business trip a couple of days ago, and I highly recommend THIS water bottle. It worked great!

2. Infuse Your Water

If you find plain water boring, try infusing it with fruits or herbs. Some of my favorite combos are lemon and mint, cucumber and lime, or strawberry and basil. Infusing your water not only adds flavor, but also vitamins and minerals. Just remember to pack a small container of your chosen ingredients to add to your water bottle when you’re ready. If you need a recommendation, this water bottle has great reviews!

3. Eat Your Water

Did you know that some fruits and veggies contain a high amount of water? Eating water-rich foods like watermelon, strawberries, cucumbers, and celery can help keep you hydrated throughout the day. Plus, they make great snacks that are easy to pack and don’t require refrigeration.

4. Sip on Some Tea

If you’re a tea lover, pack some tea bags with you and enjoy a hot or cold cup of tea throughout the day. Green tea, in particular, is known to have hydrating properties and can help you stay alert and focused during long meetings.

5. Try Electrolyte Drinks

Electrolyte drinks like Gatorade or Powerade are great for replenishing lost fluids and electrolytes during intense workouts, but they can also be helpful during long travel days. Just make sure to choose a drink with a low sugar content and drink it in moderation. I also really like Liquid IV. They don’t taste terrible and they really do work to keep you hydrated!

6. Set a Reminder

Sometimes, it’s easy to forget to drink water when you’re busy and focused on work. Set a reminder on your phone or watch to drink water every hour or so. Not only will this help you stay hydrated, but it will also give you a quick mental break from work.

So there you have it, folks! Six fun and creative ways to stay hydrated during your next business trip. Remember, staying hydrated is essential for your overall health and well-being, so make it a priority. Safe travels!
