Nu Skin’s Vitameal program is a humanitarian initiative aimed at fighting malnutrition and hunger around the world. The program provides nutritious meals to vulnerable populations, particularly children in developing countries who are at risk of malnutrition. It’s something that I stepped into supporting immediately upon linking arms with Nu Skin. And, it’s a program I am wildly passionate about today. So, I’m sharing today about Nu Skin’s Vitameal Program and How You Can Help.

Nu Skin’s Vitameal Program and How You Can Help
The Vitameal program is a collaboration between Nu Skin and the nonprofit organization, Feed the Children. It was launched in 2002 with the goal of providing sustainable solutions to address the global hunger crisis. Since then, the program has grown to become one of the largest meal donation programs in the world, providing over 650 million meals to date.
When I learned of the program, I started donating right away. It’s absolutely groundbreaking and revolutionary!
The Vitameal program provides a specially formulated meal pack that contains essential nutrients and vitamins to support healthy growth and development. The meal pack is designed to be easy to prepare and can be made with just water, making it ideal for use in areas with limited access to cooking facilities.
Each serving contains a blend of rice, lentils, soy, and other essential ingredients that provide a complete protein source. It also provides a balanced combination of carbohydrates, fats, and fiber. Additionally, the meal pack is fortified with 25 essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, iron, and zinc, which are critical for proper growth and development.
One of the unique aspects of the Vitameal program is its focus on sustainability. Rather than simply providing food aid, the program works to build sustainable food systems in the communities it serves. This includes providing education and training to farmers and families on best practices for food production, storage, and preparation. By empowering communities to become self-sufficient, the Vitameal program is helping to break the cycle of poverty and hunger.
Nu Skin’s Vitameal program has received widespread recognition for its impact on global hunger. In 2020, the program received the prestigious Halo Award for Best Social Service Campaign from the Engage for Good organization. The award recognized the program’s innovative approach to addressing the root causes of hunger and its impact on vulnerable populations around the world.
