I don’t know about you, but arriving at the end of this global pandemic has left me feeling a huge mix of things. My family and I have searched for and found the good in every possible scenario that the days have thrown our way, but I am only human. While I do feel like we thrived in some pretty giant ways, and I found many things to be grateful for, I come to the end of these past two months and I am simply exhausted.
Something I always try to focus on is my health. I have continued to workout these past couple of months, I have increased the amount of steps I take each day, and I have treated myself from time to time (hence the Rainbow Donuts) but also have managed to maintain a healthy diet. One where I try to get a lot of fruits and veggies into my system throughout the day.
It’s not perfect, (and I do love me some Pringles), but I know that the way to a healthy mind is highly determined by the exercise that you do and also what you put into your body. Since the exhaustion has caught up with me, the easiest way for me to do this is with smoothies. I can get as many vitamins and minerals into one smoothies at a time, and drink that sucker down without having to think twice about it.
On days when I feel too tired to care, I know that my body still matters. This is one little way that I aim to make every day stellar, even if it’s just lovingly getting more fruits and veggies into my system.
This spinach banana protein smoothies is SO easy to make. I whip it up after my fitness walking workout, and it’s refreshing. It doesn’t taste like spinach at all, but I can tell that it’s doing wonders for my body. I pack in as much spinach as I possibly can! I found this recipe with Pinterest on the blog, Garnish with Lemon. You can check it out and try it HERE.
I love trying to make every day stellar. It’s not perfect- I battle my mindset ALL. THE. TIME. I wake up with less than perfect days; days that I would never want to show on Instagram and that are hardly Pinterest-worthy. But I still show up. I’m still choosing positivity, and I am still committed to showing others than no matter what you battle, we can still choose to find joy inside every single day. We’ve got this! Don’t give up. No matter what, there is something inside every day that you can choose to be grateful for.
Make every day stellar!
