Through the course of building businesses for the last decade and a half, I’ve learned that less really is more. Especially, when it comes to habits and mental health. While it might seem almost TOO simple, there really are three things that I do every day that are non-negotiable. Then, healthier habits can flow easier from these things. 1. Writing Out Your Gratitudes

Starting each and every morning with gratitude is something I wish I had started earlier in my life. Not only that, but I wish I understood the gravity of it. It’s so beneficial. When you focus on all the things that you are grateful for, abundance can flow from that. Plus, it helps frame your day in a positive way. No matter what comes your way, you’ve already focused on the good things that you currently have in your life. This helps so much with mindset and developing as a leader!

In 2020, I created the Make Every Day Stellar Gratitude Journal. While the world was turning upside down, I used this journal to focus on the good every single day. 2. Wash Your Face

This is one of those steps that could be so easy to skip over. After all, who has time to take care of their skin properly? Well- YOU DO. If you have exactly two minutes in the morning and in the evening, then you my friend, have enough time!

3. Drink Lots Of Water

This one feels almost impossible some days, right? Well, I decided to get a motivational water bottle to help me with this! I’m gonna be honest here- it was MUCH bigger than I anticipated it being. HA. But, I’m not sure what I was expecting! If I desire to drink a lot of water, then the bottle needs to hold quite a bit. I fill this up in the mornings and sip all throughout the day.

Staying hydrated helps your skin, your brain, your moods- and so much more. If you love to drink other things like I do (um, hello coffee!), then you STILL need to make time for proper hydration. Having a water bottle like this around really helped.

I definitely have loads more tips to share about how I make every day stellar! But for today, I leave you with those three easy tips. Sometimes, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. But, when you have just a couple things to implement it can really make a positive difference. Don’t set out to be perfect! Set out to just tweak a couple things at a time, develop those as a habit, and then tackle the next one.
